Hey, I'm Holly
I started my photography business the summer of 2020 in Massachusetts after I was gifted my first DSLR camera. This endeavor has been so rewarding and after scoring my first nursing job in Maine, I made the move to the Bar Harbor area. I was so excited to bring my business to the gorgeous mountain and ocean scenery that area had to offer. I loved each and every minute of my photography journey in Maine and it's stunning backdrops! I am so grateful for the experience and opportunity my photography received.
I grew up in Massachusetts and after three amazing years in Maine, relocated back home. I am so excited to continue my adventure in MA. When I am not at my full time RN job or taking pictures, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family (that's me in the middle down there with my very best friends, on one of our annual trips to Cape Cod). Just sitting around a table talking is one of my favorite past times. I love being outdoors; skiing, walking the beach at night, or going on a hike!
My approach
My approach is based off a lifestyle and documentary model.
I focus on capturing authentic, natural interactions. The amount of direction from my end varies depending on the comfort of each person. The goal is always to encapsulate a memory, and the emotion driving it.
I will place you in a pose and direct a prompt.
But your love for each other, your excitement to graduate, the way you fall over doting on your newborn, the bursts of joy because you're newly engaged -
that is what creates the magic in my work.
